Following the rules of conversation
This module considers situations in which healthcare practitioners don’t follow the usual rules of conversation in their interactions with people with dementia. You will see how people with dementia react to this and how it can lead to increases in conflict, depending on how we deal with it.

They also use codes for each person speaking, which start with H for a healthcare practitioner and P for a patient. The names of people in the videos have been silenced in the recordings and changed in the transcripts and activities.
